these limited edition earrings will be sold in two batches of eight. each pair will come with a certificate of authenticity.
the process:
these earrings are made of sterling silver filings leftover from my collection file, pause, sort (one pound). it took approximately five weeks to accumulate one pound of filings, which were then sifted and sorted. each earring was "cast" in a hand-carved graphite mold until the mold began to disintegrate. this is a limited production and each earring is one-of-a-kind.
