Silver Bangles
Fridays
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
April 18th + 25th
$175.00 (including materials)
DESCRIPTION: A bangle is a rigid bracelet that is understood as a form of protection in some cultures. When worn in layers, they fall against each other with movement; creating a delicate rhythmic sound that resembles a chime. Participants will texture, measure, saw, file, shape, solder, form, and polish 2-3 silver bangles that can be worn together or individually. Multiple shapes of wire and texture tools will be available to personalize each bracelet. If time allows, participants can patina some of their bangles as well. Students will leave this class with a greater appreciation for their jewelry collection and a better understanding of silver soldering and other jewelry making processes. All levels are welcome.
* The tuition is refundable up to 30 days before the beginning of class.
